ENSEMBLE

Repertoire

1. Gloria: Practice measures 88-130. The melody is almost identical to the opening section of the piece, and the rhythms are also similar, but the text is new. Come to rehearsal next week able to sing this final section as well as you can sing the opening.

2. Magic Prayer: First, review measures 1-33 and 58-74. Make sure that you can find your notes from the piano interludes. Circle notes in the piano that will help you find your entrances. Finally, take a look at 75-end - label this section with solfege and then sing through your part.

3. Jesus ChildMemorize the first verse! Altos, please look at your part in all of the choruses and note how your part changes in the middle of the piece.

4. Vois Sur Ton Chemin: If you haven't yet, click HERE to read about the movie from which this piece comes. Then click HERE to watch a youtube video of the piece. Practice speaking your part with all of the french words, and then try singing along with the video.
