Families,
We
have a very busy couple of months ahead! Please read all emails and blog
articles that come to you over the next several weeks very carefully – they
will contain vital information about concert preparation.
Upcoming Event: Friday,
April 4th
Aria
and Bravi will be performing in the Los Altos plaza at State St. and Main St.
for “First Friday”: http://losaltosfirstfriday.org/about/
Come on out from 6:30-7:30pm and support them! Bring your
friends, and anyone you know who might be interesting in joining Cantabile!
Practice
and Memorization
All
music must be memorized for performance. Memorization checks will be done in
class. Singers who miss a scheduled memorization
check for a piece will need to record themselves singing the piece on video and
send the file to the conductors. Singers who have missed three or more
rehearsals will need to do a repertoire check in person with a conductor in the
next couple of weeks – you will receive an email with specifics. Singers who miss four or more rehearsals and
do not successfully complete a repertoire check will unfortunately be asked not
to participate in the concert(s).
